ACT PRESENTS
Important update about the upcoming 2025-26 act presents live performance season
As The ACT Arts Centre facility is now in its third decade, critical roof repairs are now necessary to ensure the safety and long-term sustainability of this valuable community asset.
The roof work will commence in late June, with a projected completion date, at this point, by the end of September. The Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Arts Council is working closely with the City of Maple Ridge to carry out this work in the least disruptive way possible to our programs and services.
As a result, the 2025-2026 ACT Presents Season of performances will officially begin in December with our holiday programming. Holiday programming only will go on sale in July, and the full season will be announced and available in September.
Donors who contribute $100 or more to the Arts Council's 2025-26 Annual Campaign will receive early access to our holiday programming in July, and again in September, including the opportunity to preview the lineup and purchase tickets before they are made available to the public.
While the programming in the theatres will be affected during this time, Arts Learning programs and the ACT Art Gallery programming are planned to continue with minimal disruption, and the Arts Council will schedule rental shows as we can, depending on how the work progresses.
During this pause, we’re also working behind the scenes on a rebrand—one that reflects both the growing needs of the community and the evolving role the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Arts Council plays in community life.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work through the impact of these important repairs and replacements. Further information will be shared as the project progresses.
For any questions related to the roof project, please contact Valoree Richmond, Director of Facilities, Parks and Properties, at Vrichmond@MapleRidge.ca.
We look forward to welcoming you back in December for a vibrant new season and with a fresh new look.
